How To Use The Law of Attraction To Boost Productivity (Part Two)

Updated: Aug 23, 2021

In part one of this blog series on The Law of Attraction and Productivity, we dove into the theory of how this Universal Law works, and how it impacts Productivity levels. We learned the importance of embodying the state of consciousness that we desire for our future selves; that our thoughts and feelings need to be in alignment with the vibrational frequency of a productive life for our consciousness to become our reality. In this blog entry, we are going to outline practical actions that you can incorporate into your life today in order to harness the power of The Law of Attraction and live a more productive life.

Let’s be real here - simply saying the words “I am calm and productive!” while dreading the to-do list and feeling burdened by life just won’t cut it; these are contrasting vibrations. It’s not about begging and hoping and wishing and dreaming for productive results, and not doing or feeling differently.

Longing = lack = negative feelings = more of the same.

As John Assaraf said, “Most people are thinking about what they don’t want, and they’re wondering why it shows up over and over again.”

Using the Law of Attraction to boost productivity is about assuming your future into the Now. You have to trick your mind into believing that badass productivity is already your truth, your reality, your way of being. What you’re feeling internally in this moment must be a true reflection of your future desire in order for you to experience the corresponding circumstance in your physical experience.

Also, it’s about empowerment and responsibility. If you understand how the Law of Attraction works, then you understand that your beliefs, thoughts, and emotions have created the life you’re currently living. You attract what you believe (or assume) to be true; your assumptions are your choice and your power lies in that choice. Once you’ve established awareness of your chosen assumptions, which impact your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, desires and expectations (all of which form the mental frequency at which you are vibrating), you can then choose to change what isn’t working for you. A famous Buddha quote summarizes this idea perfectly: “What you think you become. What you feel you attract. What you imagine you create.” In this way you can create a new mental frequency to align with what you yearn for in the physical realm.

It’s certainly not easy putting yourself in a productivity mindset (and feeling-set) when you’re frustrated and your current situation screams unproductive. I get it. But, there is a simple way to kick-start the shift towards feeling into a productive life so that it can be realized; you can incorporate two simple, yet highly effective, “Law of Attraction” methods into your daily routine:

1. Positive Self Talk, and

2. The Power of Visualization.

Positive Self-Talk is all about the mindful use of your inner voice (which runs on your-own-worst-critic mode a whopping 70% of the time), for the benefit of your present and future selves.

The way we talk to ourselves affects what we believe and how we feel in the moment. By replacing your current self-talk of ineptitude and discouragement with self-talk that reflects a productive nature, you can shift your mindset (inner world) around how productive you are, so that you can experience the results of productivity in your outer world.

So instead of telling yourself things like:

  • There’s no way I can do this all.

  • I’ll never finish this project on time.

  • I don’t even know where to start.

  • I always feel overwhelmed.

  • I’m exhausted all the time.

  • I’m not productive or organized.

  • I’m not capable.

Tell yourself these things:

  • I am handling things.

  • I feel energized to tackle my tasks.

  • I am organized and motivated.

  • It feels great to get things done.

  • I’m proud of the projects I’m completing.

  • I feel calm and in control.

  • I’ve got this.

Once you've gotten a handle on transforming your Self-Talk behaviors, you can then work on shifting your feeling state through The Power of Visualization.

Consider your current emotional state of being. Do you feel stressed and overwhelmed because you have too much to do? Are you feeling “stuck”, as though you aren’t making any progress, and as a result, day after day, your productivity suffers?

Those feelings of stagnancy, disorganization, and anxiety are your inner truth; you’re vibrating at a frequency of stress and overwhelm. Keeping in mind the Universal law that ‘like attracts like', your thoughts and emotions of stress and overwhelm are causing you to operate in a way that produces less. The reality is that how you’re feeling is perpetuating your current situation; you have more things to do, more problems to tackle, and more overwhelming circumstances to deal with.

The key here is to match your emotional state with the solution, or desired end result, and not the problem you’re currently struggling with. Stop focusing on the problem with dread, heaviness, reluctance, resistance, or frustration. Focus instead on how it will feel to tie a bow on your projects and celebrate your achievements with loved ones. Remember, you need to assume your future reality into the Now.

So let me ask you this: What does it feel like when you finish up a major project, or when you’ve ticked the most difficult tasks off your to-do list?

I want you to really meditate on it. Imagine it, visualize it, Be it. Sink deep into the feelings that you correlate to a productive state of being.

Do you feel empowered? Accomplished? Motivated? Energized? Excited? Proud? Calm and in control?

Awesome. Roll with that. Get high on those feelings day in and day out and keep practicing the positive self talk. I promise you’ll see a shift towards productivity if you stay focused on the desired results while harnessing the power of The Law of Attraction.

Remember, that to be more productive, you’ve got to do the internal work. Transformation begins when we understand and accept that our current circumstances are a result of the inner world we’ve created for ourselves by thinking we’re falling behind, believing there’s too much to do, that we don’t have enough time in the day, and feeling overwhelmed, unmotivated, and incapable.

If you want to see the results of living a productive life, put The Law of Attraction to the test by visualizing what productivity looks like for you. Feel that reality. Believe that you are living a productive life.

Heck ya to checking everything off your list today!

High five to wrapping up your projects and feeling accomplished, capable, and a valued member of the team!

Feel proud of what your future self has accomplished. Enjoy the calm state of being in control and on top of everything. It’s time for you to live and breathe the results of living a productive life as if it’s already true, and trust in The Law of Attraction to work its magic.
